March 2, 200719 yr Last year all 4 FF teams were pretty much "sleeper" teams that weren't expected to make it as far as they did. Who does everyone think will take that role this year? Mine: 1) Georgetown 2) Vanderbilt 3) Virginia 4) UNLV

March 2, 200719 yr I wouldn't want to match up with Georgetown. Lots of talented beef in the paint. I think they can be dangerous, but the guard play leaves a lot to be desired at times. Not a good recipe for March...

Hard to call them a sleeper since they play in the SEC, have been nationally ranked and so forth. BUT I will agree with you. Everyone will expect the usual suspects to get to the sweet 16. Would be really nice to see Lofton and Co make some noise this year. Very cool to see a few people picking the Cavs as a sleeper. : )
March 2, 200719 yr I think these teams have a good chance of making a deep run, barring where they get placed and decent draw, like someone else mentioned: Texas Tech - The general is tournament tested. These guys have played in a tougher than most think conference and hold 2 wins over top 10 teams and have 5 wins over top 25 teams.... Notre Dame - Have been very consistent all year, but, had a poor couple of weeks in the middle of the year and sort of fell off everyones radar. Have won several big games and beats the teams they're suppose to.... Kentucky - They have enough talent to beat any team on a given night. Tubby's teams usually peak come tournament time. All they need is that 1 big win to boost there confidence and they could go a long way....

Have won several big games and beats the teams they're suppose to....I think Notre Dame is a very good sleeper team but they have lost some bad games this year. Granted they were on the road, but still bad none the less. I also think USC might pull an upset or two depending on the match-ups.
