ESPN Bracketology 2/26

Louisville a 7 seed, UK an 8 seed.

8 in from the BEAST. I don't see that happening on Selection Sunday, but I think we can safely say that the 'down year' talk can be forgotten.

4 from the SEC.

Depends on what team you are talking about...

Not talking about any team in particular, I was talking about the view that the BEast was down this season. I personally think they were, but they've come off the mat rather nicely.

Sorry misread it...But I was talking about UK with a VERY down year...

The Cards should be lower than a 7 and UK should be higher than a 8

Go back and re-read his post....What he said is 100% true.

This is the truth, but if these seeds hold up as they are now I would have to say Arizona would be favored of UK. In personally believe UK should be a 10 or 11 seed if they get in, if they lose to GA I don't think they deserve in.

Surprised that Bama is that far out (not on the last 4 or next 4 out).

I agree that a loss to UGA should mean NIT for UK (if committee has enough guts). I like Louisville a LOT! They may not be Final 4 material but Pitino has them peaking at the right time and they could make some serious noise in any bracket. I would not want to be a 2,3 or 4 looking at them as a 5,6 or 7.

IU is a 10 right now, they have a pretty easy schedule the rest of the way, and the committe always puts them higher than they deserve. I'm thinking they will end up 6 or 7.

:thumb: I think I got it now, I guess I was thinking backwards on that one.

I would normally be very scared of Duke being a 5...but matched against WVU I would take gladly...they should be able to beat Nevada as well...then would come a biggie against UCLA, that they could win...they "could" make the regional finals...though if G-Town were there, I don't see Duke beating them, UNLESS they go on and win out this week, and win the Big East tourney...that's an awful long win streak going into late March.

Bama has No solid wins, except if you wanna call a HOME win against UK solid. And they have 4 or 5 bad losses.
