February 26, 200719 yr That doesn't happen often. I know what I see, and that's Ramel playing for Ramel. Feel free to disagree, but the odds are in my favor... Well I dont disagree, because I dont think hardly ANY kids in America today play for the name on the front of their jerseys, they all play for the name on their back. And as you said in a post after this, if the other guys in the 04 class would do the same, we probably wouldn't have a problem...
February 26, 200719 yr The one thing I dont get about some people hating Bradley, is that they are the same people who loved Pitinos style of where everyone was jacking up threes or anything if they just had the slightest opening. Bradley plays that style that everyone loved, it just happens it is not the right style for this team since we dont run that style with Tubby. My point is people are bashing Bradley and say they hate him, but he plays that same style that alot of you all claim to love....

Look at what UL has done once he was able to get Williams to cut back on shooting so much, particularly three pointers. Bradley plays very selfishly, and is a turnover machine. He has done nothing to warrant being the guy to take big shots in the closing seconds.

I will ask the same question as I did in the other thread, and that is WHO exactly on this team has warranted being the guy to take big shots in the closing seconds? And the answer to that probably would be Meeks! Out of the 04ers Bradley is the only one who will play hard no matter what, so if it comes down to those guys I would rather have it in a guys hands who is going to play hard for me all the time. Perry is another guy who plays hard all the time, but he just is not able to creat his own shot. So basically it comes down to either Bradley or Meeks when we need a big shot at the end of the game IMO, and well Meeks wasn't in there to end the game today cause of that injury...
February 26, 200719 yr I'll have to agree with Meeks. Bradley can create his own shot with his Allen Iverson like cross over then cross back, but the best one-on-one player on the team is Joe Crawford. Not a player that ahs guarded him yet has been able to stop him from going to the basket, eventhough i see ur point above and I understand he isnt the hardest playing kid on the team. February 26, 200719 yr Exactly my thinking. Who has done anything warrant being the one to take the shot? It's hard to say Meeks too b/c he doesnt really have the ability to break someone down that Ramel has.
February 26, 200719 yr At this point I'd take Meeks in the clutch over any other player, he seems to have that "killer" attitude that it takes to become a winner. It's OK to be fearless but you have to have some IQ also.
