February 15, 200719 yr I personally think the SEC is ripe with coaching talent from top to bottom. How would you rank the twelve SEC basketball coaches from #1 to #12 . Use whatever criteria you deem as most important in assessing coaches. I like these seven over the others: Donovan Smith Stansbury Felton Pearl Kennedy Odom

I didn't mean to do it, but it shows you how much better the East really is than the West.

I love what Kennedy has done with Miss. Stansbury is an excellent coach(and a Kentuckian). Lebo is doing some nice things at Auburn. Gottfried and Brady's rankings have to suffer with the struggles their talented teams have had this year.

Tubby Donovan Pearl Kennedy Felton Lebo Stansbury Stallings Odom Heath Gottfried Brady I really like Andy Kennedy and I think he will have Ole Miss in the top 25 next season. Cincinnati really messed up on not offering him a big time deal. I know he wanted to leave UC but they could have made it to where he couldn't.

I wonder how these lists would have looked last March when Brady was "coaching" his guys past Coach K and Duke and Barnes' Longhorns on his way to the final four? All of these guys except one were cooling their heels watching the action on TV.:lol: FYI, I think they are all pretty good coaches. Some a little better than others.
