February 15, 200719 yr The way the played in the second half against Tennessee. Yeah … that's why games aren't 20 minutes long. If that's what you're hanging your hat on … wow.
February 15, 200719 yr The way the played in the second half against Tennessee. What about the second half against USC.
February 15, 200719 yr Florida was down 18 at one point. I didn't realize it was that bad til I looked at the update thread after I posted here. We always hear too many cliches from players and coaches alike, but playing for 40 minutes and keep fighting, heart of a champion, all those apply in a game like this. One thing to do it against a Patriot League team, no offense to my Colgate Red Raiders : ) Another to do it against one of the better teams in the country.
February 15, 200719 yr 'Bama will be ready for the Cats...can the reverse be said. I honestly think it is the other way around. I think the Cats will be ready for Bama, UK is coming off two straight losses and definitely dont want to have 3 in a row. While Bama is coming off this game against Florida where they played one of their best games in awhile and had a 18 point lead and still lost. So honestly I think it would be the opposite of what you said...However I think both teams will come out ready, cause its pretty much a must game for both...

February 15, 200719 yr And you're basing the 'Cats not being ready on?? The fact that they have fallen behind by 16 in each of their last two games. Tubby said himself this bunch is inconsistent, and their recent performances sure do lend credence to that. Plus, nobody seems to be able to consistently win on the road in the SEC except for Florida.
February 15, 200719 yr 'Bama will be ready for the Cats...can the reverse be said. Bama has fallen like a lead balloon in the polls...and just blew an 18 point lead and played a weak 2nd half against Fla. Ky came back from a double digit deficit and played a strong second half in losing to the vols. Based on this recent history, I don't know how you can know "Bama will be ready for the Cats". They very well may...but what is this based on?
February 15, 200719 yr UK is still UK in regards as to wanting to beat up on the perennial bully.....this will make Bama's regular season...it should be very interesting when they play.
February 15, 200719 yr What about the second half against USC.[/quote} I'm going off their most recent performance, and USC made the game closer than it was in the final minutes.
