🔴⚫ | After quietly compiling a 4-0 mark and climbing to #7 in the polls, it's time for George Rogers Clark to step out of the shadows. Coach Dane Damron has retooled the offense, which is now running wide open.

⚫🟡 | The talent rich Jackets still haven't put it all together against a quality opponent, falling to Munford (TN) in Week 4. If that potential is ever fully realized, they're still a top contender in 5A.

✏️ 📖 | GRC leads the all-time series 11-6. Despite sandwiching Lexington, the two haven't met since 2002 and Wofo hasn't won in Winchester since 1992.

Woodford wins by 7. GRC is improved, but their record isn't a good indication of their skill level since they have played four bad teams.

Wofo isn't looking strong, but they are still better than GRC.

What do we make of Darrian Tomlin only playing defense this year for Wofo? I can't say that I'm a fan of this strategy. I'm cool with lightening his workload if you've got depth at running back, but he was a main cog in the offense last year and his impact has been cut in half.

Likely to force the other RBs to step up to the challenge of being RB1. If things get sticky when it matters (playoffs) you can always put Tomlin at RB1.

The thought is to preserve him for his collegiate career, and also to hopefully allow growth by the other RBs to become threats and to not lose as much to graduation this season.

GRC wins in a tight one.
