Great preview! Though I have to say, your analysis has some serious Coach Truck undertones-is that you, Coach? 😂 Keep up the great work and keep doing #BigThings!

The OG Rafferty's is good, Double Dogs is a great spot for wings and the coldest beer you'll ever drink, Pub by Novo is close, Griff's Deli is across the street. There are a lot of good restaurants i

After getting torched by Emongo last year, I couldn't blame BG if they over commit to stopping him this week. This Cardinal offense can stretch a defense about as thin as the wing-t is capable. I can see opportunities open up for Way, Wells, and Owens.

I don't think the Purples can keep pace with the Cards at this juncture.

This is another game I am excited about watching. Additionally, I can't decide who I think is going to win the game. I guess Scott County in a high scoring game.

All gold for the Purples this week. 🥇

I am not a fan of all gold. I like more purple.

Same. I think all the schools with purple and gold - BG, Male, Somerset, Campbellsville - look better with a 50/50 split or more purple than gold..

Anyone have a recommendation for a spot to get a bite to eat before the game in the Bowling Green area? Who has a favorite local spot?

I have to agree as well. All gold just never works imo.

Plato,

Obviously, it depends on how much time you have and how much you want to spend. There is pretty much anything and everything anyone could ever want along Scottsville Road in BG from sit down dining to fast food.

The easy choice is DoubleDogs located within 2 miles of the stadium. It's a sit-down location. Although the Rafferty's near here is THE ORIGINAL RAFFERTY'S. So, there's that too.

If you need to be fast, I'd get Slim Chickens on the go which is about the same distance from the field. It's in with a Shell Gas station, but hey that's 2 birds with one stone for me.

If you want something specific, let me know and I'll try to help you.

I don't really have a strong argument on why I feel this way, but I feel like Scott County is 14-17 points better than BG this season. The experience they have returning, plus Emongo will be the best player on the field, leads me to believe the final will look something like:

Scott County - 35

Bowling Green - 21

P88 listed three great spots, can never go wrong with Rafferty's. I'll add in Smokey Pig if you're in the mood for some damn good BBQ, not too far from the BGHS.
