I didn't realize Kaden Mack was out. That definitely had to have effect on offense playing 3rd string QB but most surprising is FD putting up 27 pts.

I will say impressive offense by Frederick Douglass against a very good defense. Also most any team down to 3rd string QB is going to be impacted on offense especially against a good defense like Frederick Douglass.

Two things, one, playing a 3rd string QB puts this game in perspective and two, Douglass looks like the #2 team in 6A.

I still remember St. X beating Frederick Douglass 7-0 in scrimmage but Dakari Talbert only played a few snaps so missing a key player can make a difference especially on offense.

Guys, I hear you loud and clear on X because all of a sudden they look really good, but there is that little Owensboro matter that must be considered. 🤷

So to be clear, I think it is Trinity, Douglass, and then X. Then we have to look hard at Madison Central and Manual.

I don't disagree that Douglas is very good. It's the trying to pretend being down 2 QB's is a joke that's ridiculous. Also X's team hasn't gone to the Moonlight buffet for a pregame meal since Owensboro. X has a real tough stretch coming up and may get rough up. But again it's a long way to December.

Based on this game result I have St. X #3 but not counting healthy Manual out. They are in same district so will be settled on the field.
