Basically you have predicted that they will win every winnable game. I say they lose 2 or 3 of the remaining 5 games. So who has more realistic expectations. Actually it pains me to be right about Tubby. Or should I say it pains me that your probably right. I so sick of seeing the downward spiral. It has be coming for 4 years. Chuck Hayes willed UK to wins his senior year or it would be 3 subpar years in a row. Next year will be no different. The talent just isn't there. I have bolded what you said of my predictions. February 15, 200719 yr Sat 2/17 @ Alabama Tue, 2/20 LSU @ Rupp Sun, 2/25 @ Vandy Wed, 2/28 Georgia @ Rupp Sun, 3/4 @ Florida I think Saturday's game is huge for both UK and Bama. Winning on the road in Tuscaloosa against a talented yet underachieving Bama team would be bad for UK. I think they beat LSU, and face another tough game in Memorial against Vandy but I think they win that one and the home game against UGA. No way they beat UF in the final game.

So you are basically picking UK to upset every team that is favored over them but Florida. Is it realistic to expect UK to beat Vandy on the road when they couldn't beat them in Rupp? I admire your optimism but you could be just a tad bit over optimistic.

February 15, 200719 yr I see 4-1 down the strech and go to the semi-finals of the SEC tourney. They make the NCAA tourney with ease and go to the elite 8.

Now if I pick them to go 5-0, I would agree with you. I never perdicted a finish but if pushed I would say 2-3. I think the LSU game is another dangerous game and Georgia is no pushover. I said a month ago that I would reserve judgement on this team because the schedule was so loaded on the back end. Given UK's inconsistency on the offensive end they are very capable of losing a game they should win ie. Georgia and LSU.

The team you used to know of not losing in the SEC was under Tubby.:sssh:
February 16, 200719 yr yeah...exactly. Just like the team I knew.. Didn't lose to Florida 5 times in a row. Vandy 3 times in a row.......2 straight at RUPP! :mad: Don't worry LBC. :thumb: I'm a Tubby supporter....one of the best coaches we could have. I EASILY recall the past few season of Tubby-Ball with the records of 32 - 4 2003 27 - 5 2004 28 - 6 2005 The 3 Elite Eight and 2 Sweet 16 appearances. 5 SEC Championships. But this team and the SEC is playing very inconsistently. The cats could just as easily drop 3 games...allbeit to good to great teams.
