Armstrong will be an absolute nightmare for any defense. We need to remember he is only a Sophomore in his first start against a Freddy D team that is loaded on defense. He is legit, a great kid and an extremely hard worker.

After some great help from @Hungover_in_Andover , I am happy to say that bluebirdsradio.com will be a go from Fredrick Douglass. Excited to be back doing Highlands football again on the radio. Kickoff

Pretty sure the Ft Thomas Touchdown Club has already started tailgating this morning.

I’m just as much a believer in Armstrong as any. His physical tools were clearly on display at times. However…

You can’t make the “he’s a sophomore” excuse. Coaches chose him to QB & lead a state favorite team and he will have to be held to that standard - not his class. I have no doubt he will get better & learn from this game but he and the rest of the team - in several facets - will need to improve if they want to have a chance to win it all this year. Go Birds

Excuse, no, cut him some slack, yes. Let's give him a few games and then see where he is at.

This game means literally nothing other than a number added to the loss column. Armstrong is going to be fun to watch throughout the year and as long as HHS is playing in the 4th round against Boyle or Corbin with a chance to get back to Kroger, nobody else will care either. It's a long season. As a Boyle fan, there is one thing I'm very glad about. That Coach Haddix is not the play caller for HHS. With Armstrong, Lorenzen and a couple of other weapons the Bluebirds have, I cannot imagine some of the stuff he would be drawing up.

Elder may be better. Time will tell.

Elder overall will be better than FD…..

With RPI considerations, it means more than a number in the loss column.
