Ryle comes into Beechwood having lost some key players to graduation, and Beechwood is primed for a long run in the playoffs with their fast paced offense and stingy defense. Can Ryle replace the Verax and Savage duo and keep rolling, or is Beechwood going to control the game with Queen, Fryman, and Pabst?

I guess I would have to lean Ryle. They have been one of the best 6A schools in Kentucky recently. With that said, I expect a competitive scrimmage.

Biggest thing for all scrimmages: Hope both teams come out of it healthy.

If that is the case it is very good news and Beechwood can work on other players and other parts of their offense.

For Beechwood fans, I see two things to be focused on in this scrimmage:

1. Offensive line

2. Defense with Coach Rash back in charge.

To me the top 3 teams in NKY this year will be Highlands, CovCath, and Beechwood. With Ryle most likely at number 4.

Ryle still has talent, but that senior class that just graduated was great. So I think going into this scrimmage Beechwood is the better team for now. However, as the year goes my opinion could change after we see how Ryle looks now with these new pieces.

Scrimmage versus Ryle will be played. What the surroundings will look like are still in process.

We won’t ever know, Fryman is in California at a MLB scouting event this week.

Looks like there are about 7-1/2 minutes of warmup left. I'm not sure whether or not there will be any announcing piped in, or if it will just be the Hudl camera.

Beechwood drove down to about the 20, I assume they were out of plays and attempted a FG which they missed, Ryle ball 0-0.

Beechwood stopped Ryle at the Beechwood 45 and Ryle punted.

At first blush, Ryle looks small and not near as good as they have been.

#50 from Beechwood with about a 40 yard run, he looked good. Beechwood on the Ryle 30.
