Holy Cross had a good year last year. They should be pretty good this year as well. They have alot of talent on the team.

Lead by the following players.

 

TE/DE Sr. Max Hunt 6'5 254 has offers from UK, Miami and EKU.

RB/LB  Sr. Charles Oglesby 5'10 195

 

Holy Cross dodged a big obstacle when they were able to stay in 1A.

Charles Oglesby is looking good, Holy Cross will lean on him a lot this year from the running back position and as a Linebacker and being the vocal leader.

Harlan County replaces Frankfort this year.  Other than the usual flip of home/away, that is the only regular season change from last year.

I probably won't know that until summer.  I'm sure that we should see an influx of freshmen.

I think that’s a good pickup for the Indians. Nice road trip to what was a very difficult place to get a win. I’m not sure what they return but they always have a huge line both ways that lean on you. Good pickup for some RPI points too.

Yeah, I believe that was the thought.  Two long trips on successive Fridays might be tough on this old guy!

I believe I heard about 30, but I am not sure and of course you never know until official practice starts. That would be more than the last couple of years.  Restarting the middle school program has helped and of course starting g to win some games has also. 

Remember when they had both a Varsity/JV squad, Freshman Squad, and Jr High back in the late 2000s till 2010s.  Used to average about 25-30 kids for there freshman team.
