Fever play most of the second half without Clark, who aggravated a back injury in the second quarter.

Kelsey Mitchell lead all scorers with 30 points on the night.

Officials completely ruined the game in the 4th with constant foul calls and stops to review possible foul upgrades and if they miscounted shots as 3s or 2s.  At one point they just totally lost the fact that a player had fouled out and had to call a foul that should not have occurred because there should have been a break to substitute for the fouled out player.   This need to be the WNBAs big offseason move...overhaul and upgrade the officiating.

This is unreal it is like the WNBA is trying to intentionally ruin their product. I just do not understand it! They have just released a 30-year anniversary poster and Caitlin Clark is not on it and it is not because they only focused on the older and players who were part of the starting up of the league but it does have Paige Bueckers and Angel Reese is? How can the WNBA explain this? It is unreal!

Mind you in Monday’s game Caitlin got called for a technical foul for doing the unthinkable action of…clapping. 

Same thing happened to Paige Bueckers in the Dallas game on Monday.

It was announced this afternoon that the league suspended Alyssa Thomas for a game as the upgraded her throat punch to a flagrant 2 as it should have been.

Indiana plays without Caitlin Clark and Los Angeles played without Kelsey Plum and Cameron Brink...all out with various injuries.

Kelsey Mitchell leads all scorers with 26 as the Fever jumped out to an early lead and never looked back.

Fever now get a week off and don't play again until Sunday, July 5.

Clark will miss a second straight game as she will sit out Sunday against the Las Vegas Aces.   Still the aggravated back injury.

Kelsey Mitchell leads all scorers with 27.  Aliyah Boston adds 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Las Vegas is led by Jackie Young's 15 points.

Los Angeles 106  Indiana 92

Fever played without Aliyah Boston (lower leg injury) and had both Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham on restricted minutes with back issues.

Spark played without Kelsey Plum and Cameron Brink.

Kelsey Mitchell leads all scorers with 29.

One of the worst officiated basketball games I have ever watched (and that's saying something for the WNBA).  Basically, if you set a screen, you were getting whistled for an offensive foul.  The league has a big issue to fix.

Kelsey Mitchell leads all scorers (again) with 29.  Aliyah Boston was back in the lineup and tossed in 21.

Caitlin Clark did not play as the Fever were not going to play her on back to back nights while she continues to nurse a back ailment.

I often see headlines, but rarely read the opinion disguised as a story that follows, that the Fever play better when Clark is not in the lineup.  Anyone that has watched the last 2 nights can kind of see why.   When Clark is not in the lineup, teams are not anywhere remotely as physical with Indiana as they are when she is playing.  No constant hand checking and pushing.  The screens aren't as hard and drives to the hoop are not as rough and tumble.  Always easier to play when a battle royal isn't breaking out.

Indiana 109  Las Vegas 75

I'll sound like a broken record, but Kelsey Mitchell leads all scorers with 27.   Sophie Cunningham adds 20 for the Fever.

A'ja Wilson leads the Aces with 20.

Fever improve to 14-9 on the season.  

The road trip is over.  Next game is t home against Golden State on Wednesday.

Kelsey Mitchell lead all scorers with 20.   No other details because I wasn't able to watch this one.

Indiana 110  Seattle 107

Caitlin Clark scores a career high 45 and adds 10 assists.  Kelsey Mitchell added 30 for the Fever. 
Seattle was led by Dominique Malonga with 28.

Indiana played without Aliyah Boston and missing their best big showed. They had a lot of issues trying to stop Malonga and Awa Fam (6’6” and 6’4”). The other Indiana bigs will need to step up down the stretch. 
 

Not much of a break as they are back at it tomorrow night vs New York.
