Indiana played without Aliyah Boston and missing their best big showed. They had a lot of issues trying to stop Malonga and Awa Fam (6’6” and 6’4”). The other Indiana bigs will need to step up down the stretch. 

Not much of a break as they are back at it tomorrow night vs New York. 

I watched the second half, it was a thrilling game that went back and forth.  Clark was on fire and I don't know what is better, the long threes or the beautiful assists.  I am with you TB, Seattle's bigs were getting it done.

I walked into the house to witness greatness last night.

Kelly is a huge Indiana Fever fan. I got home from Sports Talk as the 4th quarter was starting vs the Seattle Storm. Down eight, Caitlin Clark rallied the Fever to a 110-107 win with 45 points with 10 assists.

Clark made the defensive play of the game, preventing a go-ahead layup with 38-seconds left. Then, hit a pull-up, side-step, 26-foot dagger to snap a tie.

Clark's 45 points topped her previous career-high by 10 points. She set the Fever franchise record. It tied for the 9th most points in league history. She become the first WNBA player to ever score at least 40 points with 10 assists.

She did it in 29 minutes on the court. Nobody in WNBA history had scored that many points in less than 30 minutes.

She was efficient: 11-18 FG, 6-10 3PT, 17-19 FT, and a +16 when on the floor.

She also became the fastest to reach 200 career three-pointers. She did it in 74 games, besting the previous mark of 81.

Teammate, and Princeton HS product Kelsey Mitchell dropped 30 points in the win.

Fever 108  Liberty 88

Kelsey Mitchell scores 33 (including outscoring NY 19-12 in the third) to lead Indiana. Clark adds 17 and 7 assists 

Liberty are led by Breanna Stewart’s 26. 

Liberty were on fire from 3 to open the game and took a 3 point lead into half. Indiana played lights out defense the rest of the way and cruised to the win.

Fever set a franchise record for points in a game.

Caitlin Clark leads the way with 27 (and 11 assists.). Kelsey Mitchell puts in 23 and Aliyah Boston adds 22.

Sun are led by Diamond Miller with 15.  Connecticut was missing Britney Griner, but I don't think it would have helped much.  After the game got as close as 26-24 in the first quarter, Indiana just ran the Sun out of the arena.

This is the final game before the All-Star game this weekend (Clark, Mitchell and Boston are all in the game).  Next regular season game will be on Tuesday, at Seattle.

Indiana took a little while to recover from losing Aliyah Boston in the second quarter to a leg injury. Tripped over another player and her knee his the floor rather hard.

Hopefully nothing too serious, but having her out kind of messed up the Fever rhythm for a little bit.

Caitlin Clark with the triple double (26 points, 10 assists, 10 boards) leads the Fever to extending their WNBA record of 5 straight games of 100+ points. Kelsey Mitchell also nets 26, scoring 20+ for the 13th straight game.

Portland was led by Bridget Carlton who also had 26.

Indiana moves to 19-10 on the year and into 4th place in the standings.

Clark becomes the fastest to reach 1500 points and 500 assists in W history. 74 games.

How about the Clark three to end the 1st quarter!! It was a foul too that wasn't called. The WNBA/broadcast cracked me up, maybe a minute after it was all said and done the review said the shot was good (in time) but no mention of the no call, lol.

Going to guess they get tired of talking about fouls. Seems like every call is analyzed like a Bigfoot siting. Who fouled who when and did they mean to hurt someone and will it be upgraded?

It was obvious big contact but I suppose I can see the no call side of it too. Right now I can't embed a video like I want to or I would show you, lol.

Oh, I saw it. Definitely a foul that wasn’t called. But I can see why the broadcast team didn’t dwell on it.

Kelsey Mitchell leads all scorers with 37.

Fever cut a 15 point lead down to 1 late in the fourth quarter but ran out of gas at the end of a long west coast road trip.

Indiana starts a 4 game home stand on Thursday against Las Vegas.
