He won’t be unemployed from coaching long, could become a hound pretty quick and have his assistant join him, assuming the head hound goes to the girls side.

This has to be one of the premier jobs this off season, I would think this will garner interest from around the state.

Maybe.  He’s got a really talented team coming back though, and his wife is from Log Mountain.

It will be interesting to see where he resurfaces.

Yes there sure was.

Apparently South wasn’t winning enough to suit some of the folks in the County.
You can guess where the rest of the conversation went.

North winning 4 out of 5 couldn’t have helped.

That happened to coincide with a kid who was taken THIRD in the NBA draft after one year of playing college ball playing at NL.

One kid can certainly change the trajectory of a team/program in basketball.

See Pitino getting Mashburn.                           See Pitino not getting Duncan

Coach will end up somewhere (if he wants) and that program will be better off for it.

He is absolutely a good coach.  Never said he wasn’t.  Just said it probably didn’t help.  He got 15 years there too.  Let’s not act like that’s a short rope.

Where there is smoke there is fire... I have heard Brad Sizemore's name mentioned a ton for this one. I would look for this to be made public within the next 48 hours.
