Will draw Conner/Dixie/Newport for Round 1 of the 9th Region tourney.

Will draw Ryle/Lloyd/Highlands for Round 1 next week.

Expected outcome.   Colonels are the clear favorite for the region, as they have throttled just about everyone in the 9th.   But no time to rest on laurels.   There have been many years where the regions clear favorite isn't in the finals.  Head down and keep working.

Proud of the Holy Cross seniors for continuing to stick with their program, even when the outcomes of some of their games have felt like a foregone conclusion before the game was even played.

Other than CCH, what games outcomes felt like a foregone conclusion before the game was even played? None that I can think of! Every team in the 9th Region has had that feeling this year when playing CCH.

I’m not sure what he’s referring to either, they probably expected to perform better though in the All A regional tournament. Still not quite sure where he was going with that.

I was wondering the same thing. They had 21 wins on the year and other than the disappointing loss in finals of All A to Newport I’m not sure what that means. The knocked out Beechwood the last two years in the districts as well to get to the regional tournament.
