Coach Collinsworth is still the defensive coordinator. He did not leave.

Thanks for clarifying that. I was going on information I was given by someone I know with a child in Ryle's football program, so I was just relaying what I was told. I was fairly surprised when I was told Coach Collinsworth was leaving just because I know how much he has been embraced by the Ryle community. I was told there is some major disconnect between the defensive staff and the offensive staff about the use of scouting and the study of game films, and that Collinsworth has expressed significant frustration for the past few seasons about what he sees as a lack of concern for scouting and film review by the offensive coaching staff ar Ryle.

Regardless of that, is there any chance you (or anyone else) can confirm which coaches from last year's staff have left and/or which coaches are returning?

I have known Coach Sowards since his playing days at Ryle, fantastic family man and coach.

Isn't Sowards coaching the Dline this year?

If Sowards has been brought on as D-line coach, then that would seemingly confirm that Coach Ware has departed the staff at Ryle. Ware has been their D-Line coach for the past several seasons.

I believe he is/was coaching LBs.  I haven't heard anything on him

You said on January 7th you asked if he would be at Ryle, it was told on here that he would be.

I know he is at Ryle.  I heard he is coaching DL.

Ryle has alot of oppurtunity open for names to be made and there is some play makers in NKY that could stand for their name to be heard across the state.

I think Shauncey Wynn knows there is a short window and there is an oppurtunity to be had with the right athletes contracted.

Anybody have an official schedule?

Why so cryptic?

That read as pretty matter of fact to me.

I am confused by this. Are you suggesting that some players should leave their current schools to go to Ryle in order to get their names out there?

Could you possible rewords this a little? Maybe it's me but I'm not following.

Won’t speak for HB but it seemed pretty clear to me.. Ryle is down in talent compared to their last few seasons but still holds a high reputation and plays elite talent across the state with lots of eyes. There’s clear opportunity for kids from NKY or elsewhere to transfer in and play this upcoming season (like Anness from Ludlow last season)

I am not sure if the Anness thing actually helps support that it’s better to leave to go there. As has Anness gotten anymore offers or anything more by being at Ryle last year, that he wouldn’t have gotten at Ludlow?

Quite honestly imo there really isn’t anywhere in NKY that truly helps kids college kids chances more than another school in nky. It’s a great selling tool for bigger schools to use, but doesn’t increase players chances even more. Now players that transfer to Cincinnati area, that has been proven to increase a players looks and chances.
