    Congratulations Evan Hampton!!

Congrats Evan Hampton!  Very proud this young man is from Owensboro and all I've heard about him!  Congrats also to Mr. Savage, Harbin, Ohara, Trevy Barber and others who were great seniors as well.

Congrats to him! Did UK swing and miss, or was he on the Wildcats radar at all?

offered him baseball scholly after his freshman year and football scholly after his sophomore year.  Just not where he wanted to be.

If my memory is correct he was committed to UK for baseball at one time. He blew up as a football recruit and I guess decided football was the route he wanted to go so he opens his recruitment back up. Jeff Brohm and Louisville then got a verbal commitment from him but Vandy continued to recruit him and he ends up signing there. Good luck to the young man down in Nashville!

Cool picture of how the young men are all friends of their cross-town rivals OC Aces.  L to R I believe is QB Carruthers from OC, Conrad OLB from OHS, Maddox WR from OC, Evan Hampton, Johnson OL OHS, Eli Hampton MLB, P, OL, etc. , I believe either Pullom or Fountain from O and then QB from O Mr. G’way Jr.  Congrats both teams this year!
