That is a very interesting and optimistic post from a fan that just got the running clock! I love Northern Kentucky Football and I sincerely hope your next 5 games (or so) are better than the two you lost this year to Highlands as well as your Varsity loss to the Raiders!

No kidding!!! Armstrong has D1 interest already! He will be shocked this offseason based off of his statements.

Playing Division 1 football is very hard. There is a 0% chance a 6 foot non-elite athlete at QB has a committable FBS offer heading into his sophomore year of high school.

Is he going to be really good? Yes. Is he going to look like Vince Young on the varsity level like he did as a freshman? After seeing his parents, very unlikely unless he hits an unexpected growth spurt to give him that same size advantage.

Well Duh. Players getting recruited by D1 universities can’t get offered until after their sophomore year. So the summer going into his Junior year he can officially start getting offers. It’s the rules of the NCAA. Learn the rules before you say off the wall stuff. “6 ft non athletic qb” clearly you haven’t watched his highlight tape yet.. he played freshman, JV  and varsity this year….

“after seeing his parents highly unlikely” what in the world are you talking about. You sound clueless and have no idea what you’re talking about. his whole family is athletes and a lot of them have alot of height.
Bryce is the youngest freshman in his class at Highlands. He just turned 14 not long ago and is already 6’1 , 195 and running a 4.5 40 yard dash. He will be running a 4.4 by the end  of this winter lollllll very High Probability he will be 6’2 to 6’3 going into his sophomore season…. He not even close to done growning, not to mention the muscle he’s gonna be gaining… anyhow please don’t make absurd comments on stuff you know nothing about.

Honestly, I thinks it’s great how one gets the breaks beat off of them all year and has the feeling they were close and it does not matter if it is Varsity or Freshman. If we got the ?‍♂️ ⏰ put on us, I would just say, let’s hit the weight room!

I think many of you are in for a rude awakening with how actual testing and recruiting works. Football will always be an athletic traits sport and standards are in place for a reason.

Tommy Castellanos might crack 5’10 at his pro day. It’s not like Bryce’s dad is 6’4 or mom is 6’0. Getting to a legit 6’1 would be a win for him.

Pat Bryant checked in at 6’2, 204 at the combine and ran 4.61 after going for a shade under 1k yards and 10 TDs in the Big Ten at Illinois. He was a 3rd round pick and scored a TD vs the Cowboys last weekend. No, Bryce is not faster than him now, please be serious. https://www.mockdraftable.com/player/pat-bryant

Boston College accepted a QB commit from a local kid the January of his freshman year. Take 5 minutes and do research before being so arrogant. https://247sports.com/player/ramar-thomas-46154814/

Highlands has a beast of a freshman QB just like they have had many beasts of varsity  teams that brought home many championship banners. That is undisputed.

Let's not distract ourselves from the fact that the Birds barely beat Covington Catholic this past regular season with a last second TD. I welcome a round 2 for the upcoming playoffs. It is hard to beat a team twice.

The Birds barely beat the Raiders as well 28-24 with 14 points scored in the 4th quarter. Why are you acting like Ryle was some sub par low level football team this year? They finished the year at 7-3, well above .500. They are good quality 6A team.

The next many matchups between Highlands and Cov Cath are going to be dandies at the varsity level. Assumimg the Blue Colonels are going to lay down and be running clocked at the varsity level  because of a D1 QB prspect is absurd and downright ignorant.

The kid can run it and scramble but you shut that down and you better have the playmakers at WR. The Blue Colonels will be just fine in the coming years. They have some key cogs at the JV and Freshman levels that will be inserted into the Varsity lineup and turn some heads.

The cockiness of this post is astounding brother.
