Auburn is a class program and Slusher will do great there.
Slusher may do well there, but you obviously know nothing about Auburn if you think it is a class program. It has a long history of scandal.

No kidding ...

Trent Calhoun and Braxston Miller of Lincoln Co. both signed with WKU Wednesday. Congrats to those two young men.

Heard through the grapevine that Aaron Root verbally comitted to the University of the Cumberlands this week.

I am glad to hear about any kid that has signed and will be able to live his dream of playing at the next level! :thumb: A college education is the most important thing that goes with it. Good Luck to All.

Will Rabatin- St.Xavier, U of L, to Arena 1 Columbus Destroyers as starting center!

Shane Popham - Cov Cath to Wake Forest

Chase Dumphord of Paris to Michigan State...

What do most schools mean if they want you to be a preffered walk-on.....

Do you sign a letter of intent?

Most schools only allow so many walk-ons, with a preferred walk-on you are guaranteed a walk-on spot, and you have an opportunity to earn a scholarship in your sophomore year. Basically the school get you for one year free, to evaluate you before they waste a scholarship on you.

That is not always the case. There are Freshman walk-ons that have earned scholarships their first year. Usually it happens when an upper-classman quits and the coaching staff feels that the freshman is worthy of the scholarship.

We have a kid that Tennesse has asked to be a preffered walk on. Were just kind of trying to talk to anybody who may have done it before. Were also trying to find out if he can get an invite to summer camp....

Slusher began classes couple of weeks ago at Auburn. He enrolled early to begin his studies and training via full D-1 scholarship. He never had to sign today since they honored their verbal commitment to him from last year. Different scenario than we have seen from some other schools. Auburn is a class program and Slusher will do great there.

How come he is not on their spring roster?
