Let's get this one back to Ashland and Elliott County predictions....

Should be a good ole fashioned, fun to watch Basketball game. Both of these clubs are playing some solid ball right now, however this is the first time Ashland will have left the comforting walls of Anderson in some 5 or so games. Will this play a factor? I think it will at first but once they get their feet on the ground I look for a close down to the buzzer game.

I agree with my BC friend, Ferg has some much needed recoop time, Elliott by 6 is my pick.

I would agree that Ferg needs to play for Elliott to win by six.

This should be a great game. Both teams are playing solid right now. In the first thread I took Elliot by 5, I changed my mind. Ferguson has had a few more days to rest his ankle and I realized that the Tomcats had to travel to Sandy Hook. The bus ride is gonna kill them. I'll now take Elliot by 9.

It's truly amazing how ANY 16th region thread can go ASKEW so quickly. lol

 

I said on the previous thread that both teams are playing well, Elliott coming off the tough All A performance. With Elliott at home, I will take them by 10.

If it is the drive that plays a large part in defeats when the visiting teams play at Elliott then I suppose Elliott should always have a losing record as they travel to all the spots in the 16th!

What is the big deal about the drive? The new road makes it a quick trip. This should be a great game between two of the top three teams in the region and travel will have no effect. Getting to play at home will certainly have its advantages as it does everywhere and that should help give Elliott a win in a very close game. If they do not shoot better than they did in Richmond they will get killed and it doesn't matter who Mays pulls off the bench.
