St. X (4-3) will host North Hardin (4-3) after defeating Manual 28-17. North Hardin is coming off a 62-0 win over Pleasure Ridge Park. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm.

North Hardin is new to the district this year and this will be the first meeting since 1998 that wasn't in the playoffs with the last meeting in 2020. The TP94 power ratings show this game should not be close with St. X about 40 pts better. St. X has played a tough schedule to date and North Hardin is rated lower than any team St. X has played so far. Can North Hardin make this a game or does St. X roll to (2-0) in the district?

Massey ratings shows a big win for St. X.

?‍♂️⏰ early and often.

I hope X’s players don’t read this. They need to be focused and take care of business Friday. It’s the night they can lock up the district and work on eliminating mistakes.

if X wants to play 8 more games they better treat every “ next game” as the most important one.

North Hardin QB Jakylin Kirkland has a strong arm. His favorite target is Ronald Lunz. They can make plays down the field. RB Zayden Winfield is a quick RB but is only about 170lbs.
On the defensive side of the ball, Louisville commit Josiah Hope (6’3 300 lbs), can be a load to handle up front but tends to over pursue plays.
With all that being said, the Trojans are very undisciplined. In a loss to Oldham County this season they had 20 penalties.
My Prediction:

ST. X 42

North Hardin 14

Lunz is also a 3-star recruit on 247 Sports.

One of the games of the week in Louisville.

On HSratings.com it has North Hardin's best win as Valley and 2nd best win PRP. It shows St. X 37 pts better.

If this game is not a ?‍♂️⏰ for the Tigers, then the X coaches and fans will be frustrated about 10 pm on Friday. Tigers should dominate from the opening kick.

Is the "Something To Prove" specific to this game with North Hardin or a rally cry for 2025?

2025 Theme. After the way last season ended.

I like St X by a running clock in this game.

For me, I'd really like to see a South Warren vs St X game late in the playoffs.

Think it would be a really good game!

Hopefully X gets a rematch with Ryle.  I have no idea if it is possible or not.
