North Hardin does have the QB (Kirkland) to get the ball downfield to Lunz on a deep route on a quick score. Other than that, I don’t see them sustaining any drives to stay in this game. The Trojans are also a turnover/ penalty machine.

If you use avg. margin of victory/ loss and add that to HSratings.com strength of schedule it comes out to St. X by 30. Just using HSratings team rating it is St. X by 36. The TP94 ratings are St. X by 38. I'll be interested to see which rating is closest to final score. 2 predict a running clock. Can probably add a couple points for home field advantage for St. X.

I think when projections get up in the 30s it gets hard to say one rating is superior to the other.  With that said I think as a rule of thumb there is not enough separation in most rating formulas.   For example ? the TP94 Power Ratings put a cap to margin of victory/loss to 35 pts to keep teams' having an inflated rating from running up the score.  But how many schools actually run up the score in Kentucky?  Very, very few, if any.  So I think projected margins using the TP94 Power Ratings are floor ratings with unexplored ceilings. Coming full circle, TP94 having X by "40" is HUGE meaning TP94 expects a running clock. ?

HSratings.com uses a 15 pt cap. 35 pts allows points until running clock.

If I follow correctly I think TP94 is better.  I wish we could marry TP94 and HSratings and use them to replace RPI.  

Courier-Journal article mentioned St. X LB Ben Pinkston injured his arm in this so not sure how bad it is so status for tomorrow is unknown.
