- Queen 17-28 passing for 211 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT
- Pabst 7 carries for 75 yards & 4 catches for 34 yards
- Fryman 6 carries for 44 yards & 6 catches for 104 yards and 1 TD
- Queen 7 carries for 4 yards, 1 TD

BW had quite a few of their passes tipped which had a huge impact.

All unofficial by my own count.... 1st Quarter: Beechwood - 4 offensive drives - 18 offensive plays for 97 total yards (3 run/94 pass) - Biggest running play was 12 yard gain on fake punt

  • CCH won the JV 24-0, completing the sweep.

  • CCH defensive unsung HERO tonight, #56 Charlie Reeves!!!  Take note he has made BIG plays in a couple different games this year! Continue to play hard Charlie!

IMO….Queen’s 7 carries was more from being rushed and not able to throw to his receivers.  CCH D-line created that from happening, job well done on CCH’s part.

IMO…Would have been better on the Beechwood Offense if they could have adjusted and gone to Wildcat.  Not having Fryman with more touches to run or hand off to Pabst hurt.

Queen had a couple nice throws in the game. But I will say he got very flustered the moment his #1 target wasn’t open and the moment he felt pressure. But he not gonna face another team like Cov Cath until state.

In the season thus far Queen’s #2 target has close to same amount of passes as Fryman, not being open wasn’t the problem, it was more of the the rush attack from CCH’s D-line.  Plus, Beecheood’s #3 receiver is just as good as #1 and #2, just not as many throws to him this season so far.

It would be really great if Beechwood could play stronger competition prior to going into a game like CCH so they could be better prepared for the defensive pressure.  I think this would help the offense all around.

Is he?  Really?  Their #3 is "just as good" as Fryman?

Well, #2 and #3 receivers are really good, Fryman just helps open up more opportunity for them which gives BW 2 more powerful weapons.

- I don’t think Cov Cath punted the whole game.

- Felt the big swings were Harney’s 70 yard TD run right before half and Brandon Smith’s pick as Beechwood was going in to tie it up in the 3rd. Brandon - welcome to the show. Harney is a pretty rare level of athlete walking the halls in Park Hills.

- I really liked the offensive gameplan and feel like the Cov Cath coaching staff has significantly improved in the last few years.

- Fryman has a ton of ability, I hope he sticks with football as long as he can.

- If Cov Cath keeps turning the ball over like they have been they will lose to Highlands, Cathedral and in the playoffs.  If they play clean, they have a real good shot.

Call me crazy but I think Fryman is a little better at Football than baseball.

For CovCath to make a deep run in the playoffs they have to be able to throw the ball.  They can’t with any consistency.
The only thing stopping Highlands is if they choose not to put ball in Lorenzen’s hands at QB.

I agree with that but vs Beeechwood they didn't need to throw it.

I think you may be right.
