My guy Joe Wynn is getting beat up pretty hard here. Are we sure all of this is called for? Did he inherit these issues? I don't think Marksberry or Lucas led undisciplined teams so are we saying that over the course of the off season Wynn let discipline in the program slip?

Serious question….you say neither Marksberry or Lucas led undisciplined teams, so how could it be something inherited?

  • Beechwood looked good again tonight. Offense moved the ball consistently and the Defense bent but didn’t break. The defense came up with timely turnovers when SK offense found momentum. We will see wh

SK played flat out terrible. Playing calling was terrible.  10 guys on the field a couple times on defense.

You should apply.

SK's Oline is to big and slow. I would put King, Ober and Rabe on the oline. They all play TE and LB.

You should apply.

Discipline is a coaching issue, whether that has been problem prior years of not is irrelevant. Had all off-season and the current season to work on that. That on top of play calling has just been hard to watch.

3 penalties for 25 yards is undisciplined?

Beechwood had 8 for 59 with two unsportsmanlike.

Now the other part of the discipline story drops. The only thing you can do with discipline issues, as far as encroachment and false starts go, is just keep practicing. As far as unsportsmanlike penalties and late hits, you discipline the player(s) in practice and if it still continues you sit them.

Seemed like a lot more than 3, also had multiple times where they had to call timeouts because too many players. The 8 for beechwood is unlike them, was suprised by that, especially the unsportsmanlike.

Easy with the “nothing” comment.

Am I lying?

It was meant as a joke. It’s a play off of the line from the Hangover when they talk about the two Doug’s.

Missing Weaver sucks who transferred to Anderson he his destroying other teams he has 24 catches 277 yards 6 tds a Anderson.

Just looked at Simon Kenton's stats for the game. Their offense was 7-14 passing for 0 yards, 0 TDs and 1 INT, and they had 23 rushing attempts for 62 yards (2.7 YPC) and 1 TD. If that's correct...62 yards total offense from a 6A team against a 2A team. Woof!

They've also thrown 5 picks and fumbled 6 times this season. 2.75 turnovers per game. That's definitely not helping the effort.

That has to be the worse Offensive output for the neers in over 20 years.  Not looking good for the new signal caller, certainly with all the offensive talent they have.

I'm trying to figure out how they had zero yards passing. I remember one long pass to Harris and a couple others as well. Do sacks count as lost passing yards? Do INT return yards count as negative passing yards?

I think we may have gotten someone's attention at Simon Kenton. The stats are now showing 128 yards passing.
