I hope NewCath can run the ball early and often. That’s what opens things up for Miles. If the run game staggers I think it will be a tight one. Lickert is very good about getting the ball into his skill players hands and letting them run.

The CovCath scrimmage could be a sign of things to come, but they were also huge on all 3 levels compared to the Breds. I'm not sure how to feel about this one.

It was a total whipping but I wouldn’t be too concerned. Cov Cath would have done the same to plenty more teams stateside if they played them too.

CovCath scrimmage means nothing........They are a top tier 4A team.  NCC should have gotten waxed and they did.

I don't know that anyone has a really good read on either one of these teams.  Enough new faces in the starting line ups and/or roles changing for both teams.  This is why this game is one of the more interesting ones.

Anyone got an update roster for New Cath? They haven’t updated anything for the scoreboard yet.

The run game definitely helped Miles development out a ton last year.

Just noticed Ben Nevels on NCC coaching staff. Glad he found some time to still give back to the kids.

Any new names to keep an eye out for? I love finding some new guys to keep track of. I know Lloyd's OC has really been dialing it up the past couple years being blessed with all the playmakers he had. If they have all the speed you say then the OC shouldn't have a problem keeping the ball rolling. Especially with Evans still at QB1. I still think it's hard for them to come out in week 1 and light it up with about 80% of their offensive production gone from last year and Evans coming back from injury again. I think it takes them 3-4 weeks to find out who their playmakers really are on O and D. Alot of that I think is from teams getting into full equipment just over a month ago. It takes some time in pads in live action to find out who your dudes really are especially when dealing with underclassmen. Everybody looks good in helmets and shorts.

You should hear the Barger, Conrad and Tomlinson names a lot this year. Not to mention Evans at QB

I like Lloyd in this matchup! I have the Juggs winning a close one and could see NCC making it a game. 24-17 Lloyd.

Lloyd takes a 3-0 lead.

Lloyd takes advantage of a New Cath and now lead 10-0.

26-7 Lloyd at the half

Lloyd 47-14 Final
