St. Peter’s and Oakland have totally drowned out that victory over Providence!

Let’s go!! It wasn’t pretty, and we are fortunate that Troy didn’t have anyone that can shoot the ball like we saw last year. If so this game may have been interesting. At the end of the day though this time of the year all that matters is winning! Which is what they did today! Also congrats to Coach Pope on his first tournament win! Let’s make this the first of many!

No doubt, because in those two upset losses we had teams that could make a run. The team that beat Providence, was a team that probably wasn’t a true threat to go to far.

True that is what I get for listening to the broadcast guys. lol It was acutally only won win in opening round since 2019 and at least this year will beat the #14 seed! Is that better. lol

Second tournament win helps explain my apathy for the program.  It was like that during Tubby's last two years and Clyde's only two.

Yes lol even though it wasn’t pretty and fortunate Troy can’t shoot like last years 14 seed. At the end of the day all that matters is winning and this year we won, and last year we lost this game. So I will take the win every day! Let’s go get 5 more!!! Go Cats!

No doubt. I think all UK fans definitely agree it was just time for a change, as it was good for UK and for Cal to get fresh starts. The only real disagreements these days is just when people still act like Cal is the worst coach to ever coach the game of basketball lol. Other than that, I think all UK fans now are on board with a change had to happen.

We lost to a #15 seed as well in Saint Peters and we also after that Providence win lost to another #15 seed in Kansas State. At least St. Peter's and Kansas State won a game or more after beating Kentucky unlike Oakland.

Troy played two NCAA tournament teams this season losing by 16 at Arkansas and by 20 at Houston.

He’s got to play because there are so few ball handlers, but Butler is clearly limited.

Yes. I thought this was his worst performance of the year, although not necessarily his fault. 

If we could get Garrison's intensity into Williams head, we would have one heck of a player.

Kansas State was a 3-seed.

Your history has been a little off recently. First saying they hadn’t won a tournament game since 2019, and now saying Kansas State was a 15 seed lol Kansas State actually was a 3 seed. 
 

As I said I think all fans agree it was time. Things did get stale under Cal at the end, and were failing come tournament time. Both parties were better off with a change. As I said the main arguments these days is only when some of you all act still like Cal is a horrible coach lol. Other than that I think everyone agrees it was time for a change.
