They are signing that they are buying into what the program requires of their student athletes for both on and off the field and also in the off season as well.

I like it a lot.  Especially the affirmation in front of family and friends.  Kind of makes it a village thing.

Yes it does they also tell them if they dedicate themselves to the game and the program they can have another signing in 4 years to go play at the next level like many other Broncos before them.

Douglass loses to Ironton (OH) 16-24  in Battle Of Boonesboro 7 v 7 title game. The Broncos beat Rockcastle Co, Fleming Co, and Southwestern in the playoff prior to meeting Ironton. Ironton defeated Manual in their previous game.

I'm looking forward to the St. X/Frederick Douglass scrimmage. Past ones have been close and very competitive and I expect this year's will be also.
