Yes Andrews should have caught the ball.

Does anyone else think the throw was a bad throw also? Low and behind Andrews forcing him to reach down and back pedal in those conditions?

  • You would have caught that throw. I would have caught that throw.    Randy Parker would have caught that throw.

  • Three teams committed turnovers this past weekend. They all lost. The exception was Houston, but they gave up eight sacks and were a disaster on special teams. Again, it’s the little things.

  • The Ravens have to be the worst team in football when it comes to shooting themselves in the foot in the playoffs. Turnovers, dropped passes, porous defense and questionable play calling. Every year,

I missed all but the last few minutes. Were all 3 turnovers on Andrews? Man if he had three turnovers, that's an epically bad game.

2 were on Lamar.

You are correct. It wasn’t the most difficult catch in the world, but it is not uncommon to see similar catches dropped, especially given the conditions.

Slightly low but mostly the center of his body. Shoulda been caught. He is a professional football player.

Lol, no.

The early interception was a horrific throw, not really sure what happened there. Luckily for the Ravens, it didn't result in points, and could be viewed as a short punt, but a throw that shouldn't happen nonetheless.

Lamar's fumble started with a horrible snap that he had to wrangle. I would have preferred him to just take a sack in that scenario. He tried to save the play and it bit him. Gotta protect the ball, especially in those conditions.

It's a routine play for a TE in the NFL. Probably a 3/10 on the difficulty scale.

I knew people would try to blame it on Lamar. Some just can't help themselves.

I don't know about all that mcpapa. It was not an easy catch. But I went back and watched the play again and the drop is on Andrews more than Lamar. The pass was at Andrews back hip/thigh and behind him but a catch a player like Andrews makes 80-90% of the time

The ball was at his waist, at worst, and in the middle of his body. You’re reaching.

Lamar is not blameless on the drop. I say the upper tier QB's in the NFL make a better throw than that 80-90% of the time.

YOU can blame him, anybody that has a grasp on the game won't. Unless they just hate Lamar.

Sorry, I know you LOVE Lamar and for good reason. He is a one of a kind sure HOF QB. I think he is awesome. But I see that throw differently than you. It was a little low and Andrews had to reach back for it. YES, Andrews should have caught it and I call it a drop. I want my one of a kind HOF QB to make a better throw than that.

I mean I can't help you if you're trying to blame that drop on Lamar. You just have zero grasp of the game if that's the case.

If you want to hold my fandom of Lamar against me, you need to acknowledge your bias against him as well. In NO reality is that a bad throw.

Let me seize the opportunity to clarify something for now and future reference. I am a UL fan. The school was great for my kids. I am a fan of the school and all connected to it. I am a Teddy fan and I am a Lamar fan.

I don't have any bias against Lamar. I am a critical person and have high standards. I am willing to criticize even my favorites. Some may say I am too critical but I hold people to the standards I believe they are capable of.

It is semantics but bad throw may sound too strong. I am saying it wasn't an easy catch and I expect a better throw from a HOF QB like Lamar. Lamar is not blameless on that drop.

We can agree to disagree.
