The #6 ranked Kentucky Wildcats (12-3) (1-1) travel to Starkville to take on the #14 Mississippi State Bulldogs (14-1) (2-0) as they are up 20 points currently at Vandy. The Cats will need to play a lot better than they did tonight in Georgia. The game is a late tip at 8:30pm and is again on the SEC Network. Go Cats!

With the defensive struggles so far this year. I would like to see Pope mix it up and try to force the issue on defense by pressing like they were at the end of the Georgia game. That means he will need to go a little deeper into his bench to give guys a few more breaks. However, especially on the road where the offense has struggled this year. Might as well try to see if they can create things defensively.

"The Hump" always seems like a cool venue for a game. It projects well on television, though, it may be a "dump" in real life.

In pregame ESPN's BPI had Miss. State with a 65% chance to win compared to the Cats 35%.

Cats off to a pretty good start and are leading the Bulldogs 20-18 at the under 12 media timeout.

Cats led 34-31 with 5:37 left in the first half.

Cats and Dogs tied at 34 at the under 4 media timeout.

The Cats have one of their better halves since the Florida game and led the Bulldogs 49-44 at the half. The Cats shot ball very well shooting 53% from the floor and 47% from 3.

Travis Perry was called for a foul when a State player hooked him on a drive into the lane and basically threw him down onto the court. They called the basket good and awarded a free throw, lol.
