Okay with the Ohio State win this makes it now two straight years the Big 10 has won the CFP title, but what to me may be more telling is this also marks the 2nd straight season that there was not even an SEC team in the finals. Also, this year Texas beat two SEC schools in route to the title. Also, the SEC did have 3 teams in the CFP and 2 of them were one and done.

    It’s probably going to get crazier over time. It will be interesting to see how things continue going. It might not be right away, but I do think there’s going to be more parody in terms of champions being teams that others may not expect as much over time.
