Seems like they just can’t get it done. Always losing the big game. Does Paul Rains need to come back to get LCA another title?

Seems like for the past few years LCA is the King of the regular season. But playoff they choke.

Rains is the OC at Western Hills currently.

I've gotta think it would would be pretty cold day in Hades for Coach Rains to return to LCA...even if they were to offer him the job.

Coach Rains led LCA to a state title in 2009 and then was canned during the off-season over a photograph of him holding a beer was found on social media. Nothing underhanded involved in the photo, no overindugelnce evident in the photo...simply a photograph of an adult in completely legal possession of an adult beverage.

I've gotta think he's probably pretty happy at Western Hills.

He was at LCA as DC last year.

I didn't realize that. It's been a hot minute since I talked to Coach Rains last. I guess if there has been an administrative turnover at LCA since 2009 he may well have been more willing to let bygones be bygones. But as of the point when I spoke to Paul in person last - probably about 4 years ago at this point - he definitely didn't have much good to say about LCA.

Lol, both Coach and I had beers in our hands during our last conversation, now that I think of it. So are there still teetotalers on Reynolds Road who would take issue with that?

Got to diversify the staff more I believe. May need to go with a couple more veteran guys mixed in with the young blood.
