Green won by about 8 I think. Both teams were very physical. Fugate looked good when he was able to get set and shoot from deep. I don't have any stats though. Green controlled the game for its entirety. Lincoln was down double digits at one point and did get it back to 4 in the 2nd half, but they couldn't get the stop and then score when they needed it.

yes. watched some of this on NFHS. James kid for Green is really good athlete and driver reminds me a lot of Boykins from North Hardin last year. The other new kid that's around 6'7 was okay but didn't move the needle. Definitely wants to play more on the perimeter than inside. Lincoln was also forced to play a pace that isn't to their strengths. In a actual game that counts Coach Jackson wouldn't of let it be as much of a track meet don't think.

Correct.  Somerset, Southwestern and Mercer also play in this event.

Does anyone know how these scrimmages came out?

Pulled up games on South Laurel Hudl.

Looked like Somerset won by 30 over Williamsburg. No football kids played I don’t think.

Mercer won by 7 over Pineville. Preston didn’t play.

Southwestern was down 63-59 with a few seconds left but video quit. All players were there best I could tell.

No video loads on the DCA game.

That is correct.  Preston hasn't played in any scrimmages.  Somerset looked much better in this scrimmage.  Grundy went out early with an ankle turn, but you are correct no football guys played.  An emerging player for Somerset is FR. Guard Brock Stevens (His brother was best player on SW regional championship team in 2018).  He came in yesterday, and gave them a huge boost with 18 off the bench and 4 3s made.

They finally got the DCA vs. Knox Central scrimmage on HUDL.  It was DCA 66 Knox Central 46.  Both coaches played a lot of players so it was difficult to get a feel for how a real game would go but at the end of the 1st quarter it was DCA 19 Knox Central 5 when both teams played their starters.

How did Lonesky do?  If he can build on what he showed as a sophomore the year before last, he changes the makeup of Somerset's team.

I thought he looked better as a defender and rebounder than as an offensive threat.  He's got some size to him so he should help them.  I'm not sure how well he'll do against Ellis from Mercer or Ateny and Ayiei from DCA.  I'd say him and Farmer from PC might be an interesting matchup.

14 PTS/8 REBS/5 Blocks against Williamsburg Sat.  Not bad for a guy who didn't even play last season.  I think he will continue to improve every practice/game, and will be a solid big man in the 12th Region this season.

That's a good stat line.  I didn't realize he'd done that well.  It's interesting that he's listed at 6-8" now.  What was he a couple of years ago? About 6-4"?  Is he still growing?

How was Somerset's shooting?  Particularly their 3 point shooting?

He's grown significantly since playing as a SO.  I believe 10 made 3s.
