I truly believe that if Manual wins, and I predict that they will, that they will play for the 6A title. And that's not easy for me to say as a Trinity guy. Even if they lose a close game, being that it's at Male with the most exhausting announcer ever, they have a shot at making it to Kroger field.

Before the injuries, even seeing how good Manual was playing, I would have favored Male here as I think they have better all-around talent. But especially with Burton being out I like the Crimson's ch

I lean towards a Manual win based on this info.

It's hard to pick a side here with so many question marks regarding availability. Another name that's been absent most of the season is David Pellman, Manual's answer to Sowells. Two of the top three offensive linemen in the state and we might not see either in action this Friday.

If all were healthy, this would almost certainly be a great addition to the Old Rivalry. Hopefully it is anyway.

I'm struggling to shake the feeling that Male is going to find a way to pull this out again. They always seem to be the least polished of the 'Big 3', but Wolfe is a master at rearranging his puzzle board and making it work.

Rooting for Manual, though. With 6A so topsy turvy, this could be their year.

“It’s a unique situation because the game means nothing and everything at the same time,” Wolfe said. “It’s a struggle. … Do I shut guys down and get ready for the playoffs? Do we try and push through and win this game — as important as it is for the Male community — and take a chance on some guys struggling with some injuries? I wish I had the answer.”

David Pellman has played all season.

My bad! He's only listed as participating in two games (CAL and X) by Manual's stat reports. After a closer look, it may be because he recorded tackles in those games.

I think Manual wins by a touchdown or less.

I can't wait to watch and find out!

Anybody heard about Male’s QB Williams.  I am not aware of what his injury is?  Didn’t see him on the sideline against BE.

Male had to punt and Manual has it on their own 42.

1st and goal Manual after a 40 something yard run.

TD Manual on a short out.  The coverage was good but the pass was right on.

7-0 Manual with 637 left in the 1st.

He's starting tonight.

Male had to punt again, Manual ball on their own 20 up 7-0.

Sowells and Traynor are in action, as well. The pull of the rivalry was too strong to ignore.
