Being a 16th region fan I will be pulling for the 16th region representative in Elliot Co. in this one. Regardless of who wins I will be pulling for them the rest of the way. I hope that Ferguson can play but it is not worth risking a future on. Comments on that are in another thread.

ARe the 5 starting sophomores that good where they can knock off Paintsville? I have heard a lot about their abilities but do they hve the experience to beat Slone/Vanhoose and the Tigers?

Yes the 5 Soph's have the potential & the experience to do just that. Throw in Maynard, Greene & the 8th grader Knipp they have the potential. Accomplishing it may be another story but it should be a good game either way.

Thanks for the info Milhaus. So we should expect to see these boys making major noise in the next year or two and possibly a trip to Sweet 16?

I think IF Ferguson plays he will be about 80%

I beleive they have the late draw in tonights session. I like what elliott has but do not beleive they can take paintsville's vanhoose. Paintsville by 10

Really Vanhoose as opposed to Slone? What do you mean how does he cause more problems for Elliott than Slone or anyone else?

They may have lost once in 7th and 8th grades and played in numerous AAU tournaments doing quite well including a 6th place finish in a National event in Dallas.
