Highlands will be loading up the bus and head to Boone County High School to visit one of their own, Dan Court.  Dan has been able to pull off 2 wins so far this season for the Rebels against Holmes and Dunbar.  I just hope the Birds play nicely with Dan in his inaugural season at Boone County.  This could get ugly FAST!!!!  Boone got walloped by Dixie just 2 weeks ago 44-12, the same Dixie team that just got running clocked by the Birds a minute into the 2nd quarter.

There is a saying in football that everyone knows "Any given Sunday".....well not for this High School football game when you are up against Highlands.

Birds will be able to do anything in this game they want.  Biggest thing I want to see is clean football.  Even Sphire said after Halftime last night....let's cut out the stupid penalties and stay focused.

There isn't much else to say about this one other than:

YARN | What's your prediction for the game? Pain. | Rocky ...

What is the status of Jack White?

A whole bunch to not many.

Does Boone County do a livestream?

For anyone not able to make Friday's 7:00 kickoff, I will be live broadcasting the game on bluebirdsradio.com . I'll be live around 6:50-6:55. Go Birds!

AS A REMINDER: This is totally free! Check in if you're not heading out to Boone County!

The Rebels pick up 4 first downs before turning the ball over on down at the Highlands 39 yard line.

    Pretty impressive for Boone.

Touchdown pass for Highlands.  PAT is good.

    7-0 Highlands

The Rebels had another decent drive going until the QB fumbled which resulted in a scoop and score for Highlands.  PAT is good making it 14-0 Highlands with 1:23 left in Q1.
