Murray 33 Union County 13

Featured Replies

Murray I got my eye on you.

The Tigers came in this game wanting to make a statement and they did.  Union Co is no pushover.  The Braves averaged close to 300 yards rushing per game.  They left with less than half, 142 respectively.

Murray dominated the line of scrimmage.  This is a main focus considering they are playing freshmen and sophomores.  Last nights team looked more poised to the task at had and it showed.  Outside of 1 drive, the defense was lights out.

On offense, its not just the Jeremiah Jones. They have about 6 kids that can make plays.  Isaiah Martin is a name you will here about, if you haven’t all ready. EKU just offered him. With a couple of RBs out, they still run the ball to keep you honest.  Wyatt Robbins has been solid running the offense and spreading the ball around.  It can be scary once he actually plays with confidence and let's the ball fly around.

They do need to clean up special teams as they had another kick returned for a TD tonight.  It cost them 21 points vs Union City, TN in week 1. Other than that, this team is fun ti watch!

Kind of surprised on this one, congratulations to Murray.

Murray cost me the Pick 5, but I'm happy for them having a good squad this year.

Seem like a 2A Darkhorse to me.
