My guess would be when the admin wakes up and finds a great coach to lead their team. When they finally decide to invest in the program and not run it in the ground.

I've heard there were electrical issues as a result of the water leak. Anyone know for sure? That can cause a lot of problems, for sure.

Word on the street is it has caused most of the stadium lights to not function. I've heard maybe only 1-2 light poles were functional.

I believe there were some facilities upgrades planned to be completed before next year, including lighting. Part of the discussion I'm told is do we patch them for now and add an expense? Or do we just look at alternate facilities and stick to the original plan?

Given how many people show up for the games now, I would not spend a dime for this season and spend it all on upgrades.

I am confused.  What would you spend on and what would you not spend on?

Think he meant save money on a quick fix to get a few games in this season.  Then spend the budget on upgrades for next year!

With the likely dismal attendance, and poor gate income, for the few games left you get your highest ROI that way.

I think I agree. Danville has three more home games after this weekend: Knox Central, Leslie County, and Somerset (the last home game, October 18). Realistically, only Somerset would be expected to bring a crowd of any big size. I don't know what Centre is charging for use of their field but it might make more sense to get Admiral Stadium's issue solved properly (not just a stop-gap) and keep using Centre in the interim.

Correct, if they have big lighting upgrades planned then I wouldn't waste any money on trying to get them working for any games this season.  Nobody is showing up for the games anyway.  As you said, Somerset might draw a decent crowd especially since it would be Clevenger first time to return to play the Admirals.

How many people use these video feeds?  I got them last year for Danville but the quality wasn't great and there was no score/audio overlay.  That was really annoying.

As a group the NFHS feeds are garbage but if a school puts some effort into it they are decent.  And the last couple of years more and more people are streaming their own games so I feel like the NFHS is a service for second tier football programs, at least in Kentucky.

Commentators suggest that the Ads will be playing at Centre for the rest of the season (as discussed earler in the thread)

Ads kick return goes for about 3 yards.

Admirals start their first drive of the game from their 13 yard line.

1st & 10 - Ads with a run for 2 yards via Jutayvion Beasley.

2nd & 8 - Naythan Doyle throws to J'Kaivin Walker for 9 yards.  FIRST DOWN.
