Think he meant save money on a quick fix to get a few games in this season. Then spend the budget on upgrades for next year! With the likely dismal attendance, and poor gate income, for the few games left you get your highest ROI that way.

Word on the street is it has caused most of the stadium lights to not function. I've heard maybe only 1-2 light poles were functional. I believe there were some facilities upgrades planned to be completed before next year, including lighting. Part of the discussion I'm told is do we patch them for now and add an expense? Or do we just look at alternate facilities and stick to the original plan?
