Yet he wants to be a power hitter but struggles when runners are on base. World Series can be won with solid pitching staffs. Brad Penny is one of the best in the business and I would have to take this trade opportunity

The top 8 or 10 are hitting 300 with 100, 100, and a higher batting average. My problem with Dunn is the vast majority of his numbers come in bunches. The rest of the time he's terrible. Look at the teams who have won the World Series over the last several decades. Pitching and defense is important. Dunn plays no defense at all. It's not that he makes some errors, it's that he has no range an no arm. Soriano, Sizemore, Bay, Vlad, Manny, Sheffield, Bonds, Burrell, Berkman, Crawford is close is a great glove and steals bases,Beltran, Lee, Andruw Jones, Matt Holiday, Juan Pierre, Mags, Josh Willingham. Not all those guys are power guys, but all are better baseball players than Adam Dunn. Some are older some are young, but Dunn will go weeks without getting hits and when he eats up as much payroll as he's going to it won't work. If moving Jr. was an option I'd be for that instead, but that isn't going to happen.

Thats one of the only teams I can think of who had a dominating pitching staff, solid defense (2nd in NL in errors given) and no offense.
