Oh wow, you're right.  I did not catch that.  So he just played the last 4 games of that year.

BTW, there is no bigger snub than RM in 2017. We all knew he was going to be a superstar whether at Texas or Purdue. Jeff got the most out of him his freshman year and the time he was able to go as a sophomore in West Lafayette. Great kid with the best work ethic I've ever seen. He was one of those guys you could throw a dart at the playbook and almost always land on a touchdown.

The only reason Rondale Moore didn’t win the award was because he wasn’t from KY and you know that.

I'm sure the Trinity bias didn't help either...

2014 Cody Crider. Lead the state in rushing with a very minimum passing attacker that year. Teams played man and loaded the box and he still would get 1-200 yards a game. He then would turn around and play DE/OLB and recorded close to 100 tackles I believe. Took Graves to the State Championship after knocking off Bowling Green in the third round.

I think it was Moore’s SR year that was kind of a double head scratcher. Obviously Moore was snub but I believe Trinity’s QB that year set the national record for completion percentage with some kind of ridiculous number. 

I looked up the Trinity QB. Turns out he broke Tim Couch’s National record. He completed almost 80% of his passes. Threw for 44 TDs against 7 int. Threw for well over 3k yards.  Won state on an undefeated team.
