The Republicans better take all of this very seriously and do so now. Otherwise, the Executive Branch will follow the direction of the Legislative Branch. And, of course, if that happens, the Judicial Branch will follow. This is a serious matter for those who actually work, pay taxes, are self sufficient, and are contributors to rather than takers from the system.

I don't know why you would invoke the name of God - it doesn't appear to me that He has helped us these last six years. Maybe He isn't really a registered Republican after all. Is it possible that He is apolitical?

 

I can't imagine what the next eight years would be like, without a strong conservative such as George Bush to rein in those "big spenders". We all know just how much the economy suffers when we spend money to help others, rather than pouring it into the coffers of say, Halliburton.

As I seem to recall most economic indicators say that the overall economy if fairly healthy right now. Maybe, just maybe when big companies do well the overall economy does well.

Fox has nothing on CBS and Dan Rather when it comes to character assasination. Slick Willie did "perform" with Monica and all, while Rather's bobmshewll was based on false information. It's good to know they hold theirselves to such a high standard.
