I thing BG is a tad low.  The two tenth region teams (they both lost A LOT) are too high. 
 

Lots of folks are sold on Lyon at the top and on paper they should waltz through the region, but I’m still not sold. 

I agree on BG, they are too low.  They took Warren Central, last season's state champs to OT in the regional championship last season.  They didn't lose a single player from that team.  I think they could make a case for being #1.  I also agree on the 10th region teams, however those two in particular do seem to have a lot of roster additions from one season to the next so that could certainly factor in to their current ranking. 

I must, however, disagree on Lyon County.  I think they will prove to be the real deal over the course of the first 6 weeks of the season.  They will get the chance too at the KOB and at the Lex Cath tourney after Christmas. 

 

Not to doubt anyone’s opinion or poll but until St X beats Trinity, they should not be ranked above them.

I still think T is the team to beat in the 7th and by default makes them a top threat to anyone.

This ranking tbh is pretty bad. Warren Central lost 7 of their rotation players off the state title team. Etown lost 2 starting guards that were double digit scorers. 

I agree with many of the dissenting opinions above, but will add one of my own:  likely unpopular, but Evangel Christian seems over-valued at this point.  I realize they have a lot back from the ALL A State Championship team, but they did lose one rather impactful piece, and I'm interested to see how they are minus him.  Was he a load-bearing beam and everything else is going to suffer in his absence, or is it the "Ewing Theory" and taking him out makes everyone else step up and thus his impact isn't felt all that much.

Until we have a better answer on that, Evangel Christian is too high for my liking.

Point of order, Bowling Green did lose several players off the team, just not to graduation. Gavin Lightning, Briar Griffin, and Devin Bratton all transferred. But I agree, they could easily justify being higher.

I think St. X will be better this year since they return 4 starters and return couple of reserves that played a lot and add NoaSosa Friedman but Trinity is the clear team to beat in the 7th.

BG seems low. They’re loaded. WC seems way too high. They lost everyone but Unseld, who’s out for a while. They have a couple of transfers, but I don’t see them pushing them over the hump this year. 
Watch out for Butler County. I’m hearing a lot of good pieces there, to go along with the Human Oozie Price.
