This is a rematch of a game played earlier this season in which North Hardin dominated, winning 45-16.

The only way this game is competitive is if North Hardin implodes, which is possible considering the plethora or penalties and mistakes they make every game.

In the end, I see North Hardin running away with this game and setting up a bitter rematch with Central Hardin in the second round of the 6A playoffss.

Final score and a huge upset! Daviess County 24  North Hardin 21 Daviess County at Central Hardin next Friday.

I’m sure NH will have some revenge on their mind round 2 against the team that reported them as ineligible. It’s going to be very interesting if those teams matchup again

Its certainly possible that North Hardin will win but this is a much different Daviess County team that they will face on Friday night.  With Luke Floyd shifting to QB and settling into that spot over the past couple of weeks, the DC offense looks like a different unit.  The defense has been playing much much better because they aren't always having to be on the field.  If North Hardin comes in and plays sloppy, as they sometimes do, I could see the Panthers stealing one at home.

Floyd has given this DC offense a little bit of life and that should be enough to keep it close if NH is gonna turn the ball over 3+ times a game like they have been doing.

I am sure Central Hardin will have a chip on their shoulders also based on the antics from North Hardin after the regular season matchup was over.

I knew NH has its issues but still shocked to see DC has held NH to 1 score this late in the game.
