Ky isn’t the only football team in the nation to have issues with penalties and certain players being over aggressive in certain situations, ALL teams do including Kirby Smart and his Georgia team, also a team named Alabama has had issues with penalties all season long, so let’s not get carried away with Ky having a few issues.

The issue at hand is Kentucky players acting like they are the big bad boy on the block when in actuality they are the bully that can't respond when he gets smacked. They do cheap stuff that costs them big time in games over and over again, against teams who are not intimidated in the least by them.

Actuality is Ky football is in the best shape they have been in 20 years yet some evidently try to bring them down with garbage all teams deal with every season. Go Cats!!

He can address anything he wants.  This has nothing to do with W-L or "letting a coach hang around."  This certainly is not a fireable offense but it is clear that based on other coaches comments both noted in this thread and at other times, plus observations, that something is going sideways here with player behavior.  Stoops has done a lot for UK football.  Why allow this to become part of the legacy?  Address it.   Clean it up.  Keep moving the program forward.

That's an excuse for why they lose these type of games. All teams do cheap stuff yes, but do they constantly do it when they are the far inferior team to keep them from having at least an iota of a chance to win? You're ok with all the cheap stuff and nonsense? To me it reeks of being undisciplined. Maybe just maybe if they were very disciplined they could pull the rabbit out of the hat beat teams like Tennessee and Missouri on the regular.

No excuses, the penalties have definitely played a factor, but don’t lay all the blame on being undisciplined, fact is the talent level is just a bit lacking as they were right there for the Tennessee win and had a great start with the Missouri game, couple more players on both sides of the football and they could have had those wins, talent level overtakes the discipline issue IMO

So what you're saying is you don't care about discipline issues if they are really good and winning football games?

That’s where I coming from. If you’re disciplined to a T then maybe you don’t need one or two more “dudes” on each side of the ball. That’s a train of thought I’ve never gotten behind.
