I do not know what they are doing for practice this week.  The Paducah schools are building a Head Start building that has a gym and indoor turf that will serve a dual purpose of recreation for the Head Start kids and also a practice facility.  The original plan was for it to be ready by August 2023 (start of school) but there have been some construction delays (something about electrical supplies or something). Now the opening date is expected to be January.

I don't know if the athletic facility will open before January but it does not look ready yet.  I also don't really know how big we're talking here.  I've seen some drawings, but I am not sure how much of a football field it will have.  Surely not an entire football field, but I guess big enough where they can hold some football practice in there.

They should beat mayfield next year for sure, regardless of this years outcome. Mayfield will lose 17 seniors after this season and Paducah will return a lot including their two 4-star transfers, their QB, the Cleary kid amongst others. Also their 8th and 9th grade classes have been dominating Mayfield the past few years.
