Who are the top Frosh teams in Louisville?  X and T I assume?  Anyone else?

I'm not sure numbers wise, but when I was at the CAL/BG scrimmage CAL has some really good looking younger players on their sidelines.

Unfortunately, not very many frosh teams in Louisville. The public schools now mostly field froshmore teams. Last year, St. X frosh played Male froshmore which was first time I've seen them not field frosh only. Manual has been to doing froshmore for awhile now.

Trinity has around 5 or so Freshman on varsity roster so they are likely pretty stacked so preseason would be #1. I'm not sure what St. X frosh will look like until they play a game. Male is showing frosh on St. X schedule so I would imagine those two will be competing for #2 spot. Central, Manual, and PRP are showing froshmore on St. X schedule.

You are correct.  It seems that is the way it's going for most programs.  Fortunately, at Bullitt East, we've seen the numbers rise to the point where we can field freshmen only teams again.  They were able to do that last year and the numbers are even better this year in the freshman class.  Based on the middle school numbers, they'll have freshmen only teams the next 2 years for sure after this year as well.

Freshmen on varsity is a pretty big jump at 6A. I know some schools, including X and T have done it. What positions are these 5? Size?

I didn't say the Freshmen were in the scrimmage against BG varsity level, but they likely were when the JV took over.  I didn't know this at the time, but CAL has 12 FR on their roster and 20 Sophomores, so they could field a FreshMore Team if they wanted to.

For example, the JV QB #18 Collin Daniels is a SO and is raw throwing the ball right now, but has great size.  They have that across their sidelines.

Thanks for clarifying. Both X and T have played Frosh up to JV.
