It definitely makes me mad. This is very damaging for both.
Jumper_Dad
Should this flag be at half-mast or replaced with a white flag of surrender?

I think Washington State and Oregon State are going to get left behind. Probably end up in Mountain West or stay in a very watered down PAC. Jumper_Dad
What happens now with the PAC? 1) Keep last 4 teams and cherry pick the Mountain West for 4 to 6 more? 2) Keep last 4 and merge with the Mountain West forming the Pacific Mountain Conference? 3) Lose Cal and Stanford, keep Oregon State and Washington State then merge with Mountain? 4) Close up shop and just go surfing...Cut last four loose to do whatever they want or can find? 5) Something completely different? Jumper_Dad
Seeing how the PAC has no TV deal (money) and very well could merge with the Mountain West. Should the new combined conference be called, wait for it.... Broke PAC Mountain?
Tranquility Base
I figured the Pac 12 was on its way out, but I figured it would take a bit. That thing imploded, fast.
Walter
Reports by Pete Thamel that ACC could expand to get a new TV deal and Cal/Stamford would be the two targets. My guess is if that happens, Washington State and Oregon State end up in the Mountain West.

Stanford probably year in and year out best athletic program in the nation, both schools very strong academically.
Jumper_Dad
Should the Mountain West take in Oregon State and Washington State, should they rebrand as the PAC?
