Kentucky ranked #25 in AP Poll

The Wildcats finally claw themselves back into the Top 25. Kentucky comes in at #25 in the AP Poll, and #27 in the Coaches Poll.

I liked hovering around the 26-30 range better. Ah well, I guess it's hard to vote out a team that has won 10 straight.

When are the pollsters going to stop pimping Marquette?

 

Duke only slides 3 spots to #14? Makes me sick.

 

A 12-4 LSU at #16 in the polls?

 

Texas A&M, Air Force, Nevada, Alabama and Clemson are all overranked.

LSU is the one that really bugs me. They've got 4 losses: 2 to currently ranked teams and 2 to unranked teams. They have 1 win against a team that appears in this weeks rankings. They're a good team but should be more in the 22-25 range than 16.

That isn't the way the polls should work. If that were the case than UL, Rutgers, Boise St et al would never have a chance to win the BCS title. The fact is Duke has only one win over a team that is currently in the rankings and has played only 3 road games all year. They probably belong in the top 25 but somewhere in the 22-25 range.

No way, no how....though I think they will by season's end...not anywhere close yet, should be #24

I like it better when the Cats remain off the skyline. If they continue to improve and win,the rankings willl take care of themselves.
