I hope Cov Cath doesnt have any of their routines trademarked. The Ashland student section pulled off not only the roller coaster, but the knockout punch also at their most recent game.

Montgomery was cowboy night. and unless your gonna be a jockey nothing to really theme for Brossart. Id love to see the student get in free thing go into effect at mason county. we dress up and support the team home and away and at the end of the season when the team goes to state we never have a cheering section when all other schools do. Nothing but administration and administration buddies in ours. ITS TIME FOR A CHANGE. :fight:

Funny you mentioned this. At the 2004 Sweet Sixteen my Daughter and I were asked by a couple of Mason County Students how the CovCath Crazies got the tickets to the "student section of CovCath" I was stunned by the Mason Students asking us this, as at least at CovCath, that is just how it is done.. The Student Section is for the Students.... I did and I know of quite a few adults who received Student Section tickets when I/we purchased our tickets after CovCath won their games. When I found out where my tickets were located, I found a CovCath student who didn't have a ticket to the Student Section but did have a ticket to the game and we just switched.. Yes my ticket wasn't as good as the one I gave up, but in 1967 I had my chance to sit in that student section, and it was now the current students turn. It called understanding that the games are for the KIDS and not some old farts who just what to relive their youth again..... If I were you, I would complain loud and hard about what is happening to your student body, to the local school board, the newspapers and to your parents..........

Covington Catholic has had themes for as long as I can remember - and typically it is "Cowboys & Indians" when they play the Holy Cross Indians.

CovCath has had themes for a long as I can remember too.... And that ColonelCrazy is as you well know, was a long, long, long, time ago...:ylsuper:

the best student section for the past 3 years has been pendleton counties these kids go crazy over ther basketball

From what I hear Ashland is working on some new original stuff that will be unveiled at each home game.

I would suggets if PC gets to the Sweet Sixteen this year, or if you go to the Sweet Sixteen this year yourself, look for the Special Honors Section in the Sweet Sixteen Program (it's on page 92 in the 2006 program). In the 2007 program you will find the name of the Student Section Covington Catholic High School as winining a award (btw you won't find another student section mention anywhere in the sweet sixteen program). Now until another High School Cheering Section gets their student body honored on the Sweet Sixteen program, or you get mentioned in the USA Today Newspaper for what your student body does at basketball games, please just think about bing the second best Student Cheering Section....

What are they working on??? The wave? Body paint? Who your daddy chant? I don't understand how you guys can talk about "the best student section" for two whole pages. Where is Rickyp when you need him.

'Nuff Said.

From what I've seen in the past 5 years in the NKY and at State Tourny these are the top 5 teams. No one deserves second because CovCath is that far ahead of everyone else.

1. CovCath

3. Warren Central

4. NCC

5. Mason Co

6. Trinity

Ryle was amazing in 2002 and 2003 when they had a good team. Since then they have went way downhill.
